sweatcue is built to keep your data on your device. We do not collect, sell, or share your personal data, there are no accounts or ads, and no third-party analytics or tracking. This policy explains what the app handles and what it does not.
On this page
01The short version
- We do not collect, sell, or share your personal data.
- There are no accounts, no ads, and no third-party analytics or tracking SDKs.
- Your workouts and heart-rate data stay on your device unless you choose to save workouts to Apple Health.
02What the app handles, and where it stays
Workouts you import or create
Stored locally on your device. If you generate a workout with Apple Intelligence, that happens on-device — the request never leaves your phone.
Heart-rate and sensor data
When you connect a Bluetooth heart-rate strap, smart trainer or cadence sensor, the readings are used live during your session and stored locally with your session history. They are not transmitted to us or any third party.
Microphone and speech (optional)
If you dictate a workout, audio is transcribed using Apple's on-device / standard speech recognition. We do not store recordings.
Apple Health (optional)
If you turn on "Save workouts to Health" in Settings, finished sessions (duration, active energy, heart rate) are written to Apple Health on your device. You control this in Settings and in the Health app. We never read your Health data.
Diagnostics
The app uses Apple's MetricKit to collect anonymous crash and performance reports on your device to help us fix bugs. These contain no health data and no personal identifiers, and are not shared with third parties.
03What we do not do
- We do not use third-party advertising or analytics.
- We do not track you across apps or websites.
- We do not sell or rent any data.
04External AI services
sweatcue can structure a workout you create in a separate AI app (such as ChatGPT, Claude or Gemini). Those apps are operated by their own companies under their own privacy policies; sweatcue only receives the text you paste in. We do not log in to those services on your behalf and do not transmit your prompts to us.
05Children
sweatcue is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them. Because the app does not collect personal information through an account in the first place, this is consistent across everyone who uses it.
06Changes and contact
We may update this policy; the "Last updated" date will change accordingly. Continued use of sweatcue after an update means you accept the revised policy.
